在線上購買了Pearl Jam八月底在Reading Festival演唱實況共26首歌

聽了以後終於了解會什麼Pearl Jam要出這麼多現場演唱實況專輯

如果沒錯的話應該是"每一場"演唱會他們都會發行CD

誰會去買這些CD啊??

就算買也不用每一張都買吧? 上百張應該有了...

但是今天聽了他們在Reading Festival的演唱後

赫然發現 --> 每一張應該都找來聽聽看!!
(而且所有的演唱會實況專輯都可以在Pearl Jam網站線上購買download!!
還附專輯封面內頁的PDF/ JPEG自己印...)

畢竟Pearl Jam不是一般的搖滾樂團啊

可以用場場有驚喜來形容

就拿Reading Festival這場來說

Encore曲的時候為了向英國的搖滾前輩致敬

他們演出了The Who的經典名曲Baba O'Riley

Eddie向著現場的觀眾道"... this song helps us to get here"

就是看到了曲目上有這首歌 (雖然他們好像在很多演唱會都唱過這首歌)

我就直接線上刷卡download了這整張專輯

沒意外的閉幕曲是一向沒固定歌詞的Yellow Ledbetter

Eddie即興在歌詞中唱到

"... my brother he fought in the war and he is not coming back again... I got to listen to our president says... my brother is coming home in a box or a bag..."

應該是Eddie當場想到什麼就唱什麼吧

這次吉他手也在Yellow Ledbetter最後的吉他獨奏中
加入了一小段Led Zeppelin的吉他旋律

每場演唱會都以這首歌做結尾

又偏偏每一次這首歌又有不同的演出

忍不住想再買他們別場演唱會的專輯來聽聽看有沒有其他的驚喜

譬如是跟Reading Festival演出時間差兩天的Leeds Festival
查了一下曲目蠻不一樣的...

Eddie在演出Dissident之前特別跟在場所有的英國觀眾面前提到

"... being from America maybe we should clarify by saying we come in peace!"

聽到這裡我笑出來了
